Dairy Processing is a major activity within Nadec. The dairy processing has started with a small plant with a limited capacity of 4000 lit/day for milk and Laban only. NADEC has decided to expand in the dairy processing both quantitatively and qualitatively, its first step started with Dairy Plant 1. Dairy Plant no. (1):

Dairy Plant )1( was early operated in the year 1405 H (1985 G) with a capacity of 50,000 liters/Day, Its operation was scheduled with the establishment of the first dairy farm in Nadec. The plant is now in full operational capacity of more than 200,000 liters per day, after performing many expansions and improvement steps. It produces are mainly Yoghurt & Labnah. Long Life milk products including Whole, Low Fat, Skim milk, flavored milk with chocolate and other fruit flavors. In addition to the different UHT juice varieties. In order to cope with the progressive marketing demands, Nadec continued to upgrade and improve Dairy Plant (1) in terms of both equipment and constructions directions.


Dairy plant No (2):

The New dairy plant was established and started production in the year 1996 with a total investment cost of 309 million Riyals (82.4 million US $), for a production capacity up to 600,000 liters per day .The capacity of the two plants can easily reach 800,000 liters /day.
Nadec continued to invest year after year to introduce and develop the products categories, also to keep up the level of quality and compliance to the consumer acceptance. Nadec list of products covers more than 43 different products of dairy and juice products packed in more than 106 styles. All these products are daily distributed all over the Kingdom and within the Gulf States.
Nadec’s strategy is always in launching launch products, which adapt with the needs of the Gulf community in general, and the Saudi society in particular. Also to offer new products, which meet with market profile and consumer needs.
It is planned to develop new dairy desserts like Pudding and Custard varieties, also new beverages enriched with vitamins and minerals as well as energy drinks are all of Nadec keen interest and production plans.
It is worth mentioning that the Second dairy plant has been designed in accordance with the most modern technical advances achieved in this field, such as: air-tight building and air sterilization systems at filling machines. In addition, when designing this factory a full consideration was given regarding NADEC future aspirations, with respect to increasing the current production lines without making new construction works.


New Strategic Plan (2005-2009):

During 2004 Nadec has established, an ambitious strategic plan to strengthen Nadec’s pioneering position in the Regional Dairy market through the period 2005 – 2009. Having this target achieved, more investment in all activities is well-planned; processing, marketing and raw milk directions.

This plan will surely fulfill the Nadec goals of consumer’s and shareholders satisfaction.
